Galatians 6:7 states that whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. The word “sow” does not refer to sowing one time. Instead, it means whatsoever we sow on a regular basis, that shall we also reap. If we get ugly with people on a regular basis, we’re going to reap ugliness back. If we sow kindness, we’re going to reap kindness. Take this truth into your relationship with your spouse. We need to treat our spouse like we would treat a brother or sister in the Lord that we don’t really know — with common respect. It is important not to be thinking so much about what your spouse can do for you, but rather what you can do for your spouse. Then sow THAT into that person’s life on a regular basis! Before you know it, you’ll be reaping a harvest that will bless both of you! Learn more about this important life subject on tonight’s Home Group.
