In 1 Thessalonians 2:18, Paul states, “Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.” The word “Satan” means “one who hates, accuses, hinders, or conspires against.” It doesn’t matter who you are, everybody at some point encounters disruptions created by the devil. When you set out to do the will of God, it is amazing how the devil can create the craziest situations to try to stop you. We are living in enemy territory on this earth. Our job is to shine the light, and the devil hates it. If you are committed, the power of God will join itself to you and whatever weapon that is formed against you will not be able to prosper.
