Would you like to put worry to bed forever? Philippians chapter 4:6 tells us to be careful for nothing. The Greek word for “nothing” means NOTHING AT ALL. This verse is not a suggestion or a recommendation — it’s a command. That means you are not to worry about anything. Worry is a spirit and it exaggerates. It will take a situation that may not amount to anything and make it seem like the world is going to end right then and there. As believers, we are to take every little, minute detail and pray about it. The word for “prayer” in this verse means to come TO COME TO A PLACE OF SURRENDER. If it bothers you, you need to surrender it to God and realize not only how big He is, but also the all-important fact that He can handle it.
