Ephesians 6:13 is one of the saddest verses in the whole Bible. Why? The Ephesian church was birthed in glorious power, but they had dropped their armor and they were no longer walking in power as they once had. The church began drifting, and kept drifting, until Jesus spoke to them in Revelation 2:4, saying, “I have somewhat against you because you have left your first love.” In verse 5, He says, “Remember what you used to be like and repent.” The great thing is, if you’ve walked away from what you used to be, you can turn around and walk back.
