In his day, David was no doubt surrounded by a lot of problems and injustices. However, in Psalm 119:164, he said, “Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.” David made a decision he wasn’t going to allow his mind to be affected by all the bad things going on around him. Instead, he was going to praise God for His authority over them. As believers in these last days, we, too, can be tempted to be overwhelmed by what is going on around us. But just like David, we can make a decision to think right by intentionally stopping to acknowledge the presence of God. As we do, we are reminded and encouraged that He is on the throne and that He will judge righteously and justly. Tune in to tonight’s Home Group for more on this topic!
