How would you like to be really good at what you do? There probably isn’t a person alive that that would say “no” to that question. We all want to be good at what we do. When we watch professional sports teams, what are we watching? Masters at the basics. It’s not uncommon for a serious basketball player to shoot 1000 free throw shots for practice. What is he doing? Becoming so familiar with shooting free-throw shots until he can almost make the shots without thinking about it! How would you like to do the same thing with the word of God? The word “walk” in the phrase, “walk in the spirit in Galatians 5:16 is the Greek word peripatéō which means to tread or walkabout.
