Why do many believers suffer, get cancer, or die from various diseases, even ministers and pastors?
There are natural reasons why this happens. People get sick because they mishandle their bodies, don’t know how to take care of themselves, eat improperly, do not control their emotions, and are exposed to a lot of stress. And that is not all. We also live in a world in which the devil operates. The Bible tells us that he is a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
There may be other reasons as well. Ignorance in spiritual matters and wrong actions contribute to the emergence of problems in peoples’ lives. But here’s the good news: our faith in Jesus Christ overcomes the world. When we repent, our faith allows us to correct mistakes, overcome disease, and live in blessing. We can overcome any situation by believing in Jesus.
Some of my relatives and friends who have not repented will go to hell. Will the Lord blame me for not telling them about God?
Ezekiel 33:8 says that if we are able to warn a person living in sin but do not, God will ask us about it. We are responsible for bringing the good news of salvation to people.
Can God forgive a son through his mother's prayers?
Forgiveness can only be found through personal repentance. A mother should pray for the salvation of her son and ask God to put a desire in her son’s heart to turn to the Lord in repentance. Believe in God’s mercy and His promises for your family.
Why do some prayers go unanswered?
“You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly…” (James 4:2–3).
Prayer based on God’s Word and filled with faith will never go unanswered. If you know God’s will and ask for something that does not contradict His Word, know that God heard you and will give what you ask for.
How do I get along with difficult people and love them?
“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18).
If you follow this verse, then difficult people will not be able to upset you because you will set yourself up to be at peace with all people, no matter what they do or say.
