I want to give you an update on the Good News TV channel (GNC). Over the last few months we have been building the channel’s TV set so that we don’t have to rent a set and have one of our very own! And it’s almost finished! We just need to get the rest of the studio lights and the last of the furniture — and the TV studio will be done! Praise God!
In the meantime, we have been working on expanding GNC’s reach so we can get it into as many homes as possible, pumping the Word of God all over Russia.
On March 4, we launched the Good News Channel in a national way — allowing the channel to be seen on every cable network in Russia that includes our channel in their subscription package!
We have a list of over 200 cable companies in Russia and their number of subscribers — over 40 million homes, or around 100 million people — and now that the Good News Channel can be seen all over the nation of Russia, we are in the process of getting our channel on as many networks and to as many subscribers as possible!
GNC is already on multiple cable networks but there are many more we can get on. I ask that you continue to believe with us for the Good News Channel to be on as many Russian networks as we can get so that when people turn on their TVs and look through the TV guide, they can find the Good News Channel and start to hear the truth of the Gospel.
Just over three decades ago, Russia was a communist and atheist country, but now, we’re taking the Gospel into people’s homes 24/7. This has never happened before, and it is truly an amazing and historic feat for the Protestant Church in Russia. We want to say thank you for all your prayers and support. You are truly helping us take the Gospel into unsaved homes.
