A Living Sacrifice
When we present our child to the Lord at a baby dedication like Joseph and Mary did with Jesus, is very similar to how we are to present ourselves to God each day as a living sacrifice. We are to place ourselves at God’s disposal; to surrender; to offer a sacrifice to God; to present as a special offering to God; or to dedicate ourselves once and for all.
